Practice updates

Practice will CLOSED for Easter Bank Holiday

on Friday 29th March and Monday 1st April we will reopen on Tuesday 2nd April at 8am

If during this time you need urgent medical advice or attention
please visit 111.nhs.uk or call NHS 111, calls to this number are free
from both landlines and mobiles.

Telephone system update

We now offer a ‘Call-Back’ service following an upgrade to our telephone systems. From 14th December 2023 you will hear a message which will tell you how to request a call back if our lines are busy. However, you will still have the option to remain on the line if you need an urgent appointment.  Please note however, that if you ask for a call back, you will need to be available to answer your telephone as we are unable to make multiple calls. If you miss the call, you will need to call the surgery back.

We would advise if you need an urgent appointment on the day you stay on hold and do not request a call back.

Need an appointment after 6.30pm or on Saturday morning ?

Call our reception team on 01515115805 and ask for an appointment via our Enhanced Access service, we offer face 2 face and telephone appointments also smear and blood appointments of an evening and on a Saturday. These appointments will be based at Highfield Hospital, Highfield Road.

When the Practice is closed during any time and you need urgent medical attention or advice please visit www.111.nhs.uk or call 111 which is free from both landlines and mobiles.

Hough Green Pharmacy

Please note Lloyds Pharmacy situated in our building has been taken over by an independent firm and are now trading as Hough Green Pharmacy.  Although there was a little disruption when their systems initially changed over this has now been rectified.  If you were signed up with Lloyds Pharmacy you will automatically be signed up with Hough Green Pharmacy.  Check their facebook page for further details.

PLEASE NOTE

PATCHS: New for Online Consultation
PATCHS can be accessed via the link below  which gives you the option to contact your Practice or go to other NHS services, just as our previous
e-consult service did. It is designed to be a lot easier for patients to complete and if you choose too, you can have your own account. Once that account is set up you only have to enter your personal details once and you will be able to keep track of all messages you send and your Practice sends to you.

Friends & Family Test (FFT)

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the care and treatment you receive from the NHS and to help improve services. From 1 December 2014, NHS England has made it a contractual requirement that all GP Practices undertake the FFT.
In order to provide this feedback, you can CLICK HERE which anonymously sends your response or you can pick up the questionnaire in the Practice and complete and post in the green posting box in the Practice Reception Area.
